Certification

International Standards Organization (ISO) is considered one of the world’s largest business and technology associations. ISO standards are considered some of the most popular in many countries.

ISO certification assumes the supremacy of the management system quality, since, according to experts, the characteristics of the final product, including its cost, depend on it. Therefore, the ISO certificate is the basic and main evidence of the competent and correct organization of trade and production.

Undoubtedly, the high level and active development of market relations requires a certain approach from its participants, which involves ensuring full compliance of the manufactured products to currently existing standards or requirements, as well as confirming the reliability of suppliers and manufacturers. Today, a synonym for confidence, both, in the quality of the products and in the manufacturers, is the ISO, which develops certification standards. So, after the company has passed the certification procedure by an independent expert, it receives a documentary confirmation of compliance with an international standard – an ISO certificate.

An important role plays the ISO 9001 standard. A company that hold up to such a standard, proves its management literacy, has advantages compared to competitors.

At our plant a decision to certify the production in accordance with ISO 9001 standards for the first time was made in 1996.

Step by step, other standards were introduced, so in 2001 the environmental management system was certified. In 2005 the OHSAS system was certified.
In 2007, it was decided to develop a single integrated system.

System integration goals:

• Possibility to apply a holistic approach to risk management;
• Combination of the requirements of the applicable standards;
• Elimination of discrepancies between management systems;
• Improving the efficiency of management systems in general;
• Unified policy in the management systems of the company.

KMEZ constantly develops, never stands still, implements ambitious expensive projects to meet all modern requirements for product quality, environment, industrial safety and health protection.

In 2020, the plant passed a re-certification audit of management systems by the German certification body TṺV NORD CERT GmbH for compliance of production to the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2015 «Quality Management Systems», ISO 14001:2015 «Environmental Management Systems», ISO 45001:2017 «Management Systems Operational Health and Safety”.
