Copper sulfate technical grade
Main characteristics
- I grade rate А GOST 19347-2014;
- mass fraction of copper sulfate expressed as CuSO4•5H2O – min 98,0%;
- packaging: polyethylene (polypropylene) valve bags with a weight of 25(±0,25) kg or containers made of polypropylene fabric with liners made of polyethylene film with a weight of 1000 (±2) kg or 1250(±2) kg
Copper Sulphate is produced from the spent solutions of electrolytic copper refining.
Chemical formula: CuSO4*5H2O. Crystalline solids bright blue or cyan-coloured. Copper Sulphate is a water-absorbing substance. Copper Sulphate is used for ore cleaning at Coppers Concentrators, for pest control, for production of artificial fibres, organic dyes, mineral paints. Copper Sulphate is a noncombustible, fire- and explosive safe substance, qualified as moderately toxic harsh chemical.

- The sum of Bi, Se, Te does not exceed 0.0003%, incl. max. content of the Se and Te sum does not exceed 0.00030%.
- The sum of Cr, Mn, Sb, Cd, As, P does not exceed 0.0015%.
- The sum of Sn, Ni, Fe, Si, Zn, Co does not exceed 0.0020%.
- The total amount of standardized impurities does not exceed 0.0065%.
- The mass fraction of oxygen for copper M00k is set in the contract. The “-” sign means that this element is not standardized
Product form and packaging
Copper sulphate is packaged in plastic (polypropylene) bags with a valve, with a weight of 25 (± 0.25) kg. Bags are placed in a cardboard box on a wooden pallet by 50 pcs. each and wrapped with a polymer film.
On the request of the consumer, copper sulphate can be packed into polypropylene big-bags with polyethylene film liners, with net weight of 1000(±10) kg or 1250(±12,5) kg.
Guaranteed storage life for copper sulphate is two (2) years from the date of production.
