Silver ingots
Main characteristics
- GOST 28595-2015;
- silver content — min 99,99% (highest grade SrA-1);
- ingot weight 28 to 32 kg.
Silver ingots are manufactured by processing of the copper slime formed during copper electrolytic refinery. Due to the unique refining process, silver has high-purity.
Silver ingots are produced in grade SpA-1, SpA-2 and SpA-3.

Each ingot is subject to surface inspection, marking and weighing. The weight of the ingot shall be within the range 28 to 32 kg. The ingots are manufactured in form of truncated pyramid. Upon agreement with the customer it is possible to manufacture other form of silver ingots in term of shape, weight and dimensions.
The ingot surface should be free of beadings, burrs, scratch marks, dents, grease stains or other foreign inclusions.
On the front surface of an ingot is allowed presence of roughened surface with a depth of not more than 3 mm. and presence of concavity with a depth of not more than 9 mm. as a result of shrinkage during metal crystallization.
Notes:
- Sign “-“ in the table means that the impurity is measured but not specified.
- Column “Total” is a sum of all impurities measured
