Alexander Yu. (Yurievich) Sidorenko

Was born in 1972 in the city of Chelyabinsk. In 1994 he graduated with honors from the metallurgical faculty of the Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute (now the South Ural State University). In the same year, at the management invitation, he came to the Kyshtym Copper Electrolytic Plant.

Alexander Sidorenko climbed the career ladder from a Worker to a Chief Engineer. He began his career as an operator-hydrometallurgist in the vitriol production department. After six months, Sidorenko was appointed as a Foreman, and in January 1996 – as a Leading Process Engineer of the same department. In September 1999, Alexander was appoint to a position of the Chief Technologist of the plant, then the Deputy Chief Engineer, and in July 2007 he took the position of Chief Engineer.

Alexander Sidorenko is the author of scientific publications and patents for inventions.

In 2019, for his great contribution to the development of metallurgical production, professionalism, long-term conscientious work, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation awarded Alexander Yu. Sidorenko the title of «Honorary Metallurgist»
