Measuring Gold Bars, grade Zl 999.9m are manufactured in accordance with GOST R 51572 in weight of 500 g and 1000 g.
Chemical composition:
| Grade | Mass fraction, % | |
|---|---|---|
| Au, min | sum of impurities, max, % | |
| ZL 999,9м | 99,99 | 0,01 |
| ZL 999,5м | 99,95 | 0,05 |
| ZL 999м** | 99,90 | 0,10 |
| ZL 995**м | 99,50 | 0,50 |
The gold bar surface should be free of grease, burrs, cracks, splits, slag or other foreign inclusions. On the front surface of the cast gold bar is allowed presence of concavity and waviness as a result of shrinkage during metal crystallization.
Each measuring gold bar is subject to surface inspection, marking and weighing.
Notes:
** Impurities of Ag, Pt, Pd, Rh, Cu, Pb, Fe, Zn, Bi, Sn, Mn, Si, Mg, Cr, Ni and Sb are measured, but not specified.
** In case of direct assaying of gold the impurities of Ag, Pt, Pd are measured. Content of each impurity is not specified.
Note: Letter “m” indicating the grade of measuring gold bars is not stamped on the bar.
