Kyshtym metallurgists were awarded with Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation

The good news came to JSC KMEZ, some of the plant employees were awarded with Certificates of Merit of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. This news was expected at the Kyshtym Copper Electrolytic Plant by the Metallurgist Day, but the order was signed only on July 30. In accordance with it, Oleg Truskov, the charge loader of the Anode smelting division, and Oleg Blinov, the head of the vitriol production division of the Tankhouse, were awarded with certificates of merit.

Oleg Truskov entered the Russian Foil plant in March 2001. The beginner was automatically assigned with the 2nd skill category. Over the years of work, he perfectly mastered his skills and at the same time mastered the job of a slinger-telfer operator. In 2011, Oleg, as a qualified worker, was assigned with the 5th skill category as charge loader. In this position, he works today, showing competence and proactivity in solving production issues. In 2018, Truskov, along with his colleagues in the division, participated in the commissioning of a modern gas cleaning complex for the MAERZ copper smelting furnace, which makes it possible to carry out a high degree purification of exhaust gases.

Oleg Blinov has been working in the Tankhouse since March 1993, starting as a cathode operator, and in 1994 he was transferred as a hydrometallurgist to a new department — the vitriol production department. He worked his way up from a worker to the head of the division since 2011. He was directly involved in the development of a new technology for obtaining copper sulfate, and then nickel sulfate grade «P». With his active participation, the vitriol production division was established as department with an almost closed production cycle and with a flexible process flowsheet, which made it possible to obtain equally high-quality products with a different chemical composition of raw materials.

As a specialist with extensive experience and knowledge of the process, Oleg Blinov is constantly involved in the start-up of new equipment, modernization of the existing one, in the development and implementation of mechanisms that facilitate or replace manual labour. And same this time when the division under his management undergoing modernisation. The division modernization takes place without any decrease in production output. Blinov is a man of his word, tactful, level-headed, possess credibility among the team of the division and the plant.
